‘RUDE’ PRAYER DEMANDING HADI’S DEATH BACKFIRES – HADI NOT ONLY RECOVERS BUT PM ANWAR ALSO GIVES ‘HATE CULTURE’ CULPRIT A TONGUE LASHING – ‘I ORDER HIM TO APOLOGISE IMMEDIATELY’

Anwar orders netizen to apologise over ‘rude’ post on Hadi’s health

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has demanded a social media user to apologise over the latter’s online post about the ailing health of PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

This came after a netizen known as Zaki Yamani earlier tweeted a prayer urging for the death of Hadi, who is reportedly receiving hospital treatment after his health started deteriorating since Hari Raya Haji.

“I oppose and regret the rude posting from Zaki and order him to apologise immediately,” Anwar tweeted today.

The social media user has since denied reports about his tweet which claimed he was an aide to Anwar’s political secretary Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin.

“I am not an aide to any of the prime minister’s political secretaries,” he tweeted.

It was previously reported that Hadi’s last hospitalisation was in February last year.

At the time, the 75-year-old was admitted to the Putrajaya Hospital due to breathing difficulties before being transferred to the National Heart Institute for further treatment.

DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang has also urged Zaki to retract and apologise for the post.

“Malaysians do not want a hate culture in Malaysian politics or life,” he said in a statement today.

Lim said he has never harboured hope that his political opponents would die over his six-decade-long political career.

“I wish Hadi… swift recovery and I also hope Hadi would mend his ways to stop spreading lies, falsehoods, fake news, and hate speech which could only polarise race and religious relations in Malaysia, and which is not helpful in ensuring the fulfilment of the wishes of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and various sultans to see political stability and greater national unity in the country,” he said.

Hadi previously accused DAP of being anti-Malay and anti-Islam multiple times. MKINI

Hadi on the mend, transfers to normal ward

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s health condition has stabilised, said party vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.

He informed that Hadi has been transferred to a normal hospital ward from the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).

“However, he is still under treatment and the doctor’s observation,” he said, as reported by Sinar Harian today.

It was also reported that the Marang MP is not receiving visits at the hospital to facilitate recovery.

“No one has visited, let him rest properly and we pray that he will recover soon,” Amar added.

Hadi’s son Muhammad Khalil yesterday called on the public to pray for his father’s recovery.
