KUALA LUMPUR — The funeral of Chinese-American singer-songwriter Coco Lee has been fixed for July 31 with the cremation set for the following day.

Taking to her social media, her sister Nancy Lee announced that the funeral services would be held at the Hong Kong Funeral Home in North Point.

She added that a public vigil will be held on July 31 between 6pm and 10pm, noting that the announcement was to allow others make their plans.

According to DimSum Daily, her fans from all over the world reportedly would be flying to Hong Kong to bid farewell to their beloved idol.

Coco’s family had then said that she attempted to take her own life at her home before being sent to the hospital.

Her sisters had revealed that Coco had been seeking professional help against depression ‘for a few years’ but her condition ‘deteriorated’ over the last few months.
