THE FUTURE LOOKS BLEAK FOR SANUSI – SELANGOR ROYAL COUNCIL SAYS IT – APOLOGISE TO OUR SULTAN! – INDEED THE ENTIRE PAS PARTY SHOULD SAY SORRY FOR KEDAH MB’S SERIES OF BOORISH & RACIST RANTS – EVEN AS COPS, WHO HAVE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION, TAKE DOWN HIS STATEMENT

Sanusi should apologise to Selangor sultan, says royal council member

Selangor Council of the Royal Court member Emran Kadir reminds Sanusi Nor that the sultan has the prerogative to appoint the state’s menteri besar.

Emran Kadir speaking to the media after lodging a police report against Kedah menteri besar Sanusi Nor at a police station in Shah Alam today.

SHAH ALAM: Kedah menteri besar Sanusi Nor should issue a public apology to the Sultan of Selangor for remarks he made regarding the appointment of the state’s menteri besar, says a member of the Selangor Council of the Royal Court.

Emran Kadir said Sanusi’s comments were an insult as the sultan has the prerogative to appoint the menteri besar for Selangor.

“He (Sanusi) made the remarks openly at a public event. If he said it in private, there would be no need for a public apology, but he must apologise as soon as possible because (his) statement has gone viral on YouTube.

“It is as if he is saying that the sultan had appointed someone incompetent. The sultan can appoint whoever he wants as long as the appointee is from the party with the most seats in the state legislative assembly.

At a recent ceramah, Sanusi, who is also Perikatan Nasional (PN) election director, allegedly insulted the sultan by appearing to question his choice of Amirudin as the menteri besar.

On Wednesday, Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said the police had opened investigation papers into Sanusi.

Earlier today, he said that 31 police reports had been lodged against Sanusi as of 11am.

He said investigations are being conducted by a special team from Bukit Aman that focuses on issues related to the 3Rs – race, religion, and royalty.  FMT

Cops record statements from Sanusi, Hadi, Guan Eng on 3R

Police have recorded statements from caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang and DAP chairperson Lim Guan Eng over three separate probes related to their alleged remarks touching on race, religion and royalty.

Sanusi and Lim had their statements recorded today, while Hadi was met by police at the PAS headquarters yesterday, according to Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain.

Berita Harian quoted Razarudin as saying that Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department had recorded Sanusi’s statement at a hotel in Bangsar early this morning while Lim was met in Penang.

“The investigation papers related to the three politicians are being completed before being submitted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers by the latest by this Monday,” he said.

Police yesterday confirmed investigations are ongoing against Sanusi over his remarks that allegedly insulted the Sultan of Selangor.

Meanwhile, Hadi is under probe for his remarks against DAP, alleging that the party intends to retain the meaning of Islam in the Federal Constitution.

The meaning is based on the British colonialists’ interpretation, which upholds liberalism and freedoms espoused by Western countries.

The Marang MP’s remarks were believed to have been made via a Facebook post on July 8.

As for Lim, Razarudin confirmed the investigation was related to his alleged remarks that a “Green Wave” – used about PAS and Perikatan Nasional – would destroy temples.

Lim previously claimed his statement had been misconstrued by a news portal that inaccurately translated his speech as first reported by a Chinese daily.  MKINI
