Selangor MB: 12 percent of state has received two vaccine doses
SHAH ALAM (Bernama): Approximately 12% of the people in Selangor have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, says said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
He said on Thursday (July 15) that so far, 2.3 million vaccine doses have been dispensed in the state through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK), the highest number recorded by a state.
“I would also like to inform that 78% of the supply received from the Federal Covid-19 National Immunisation Task Force (CITF) has been used in Selangor,” he said.
He said the remaining 618,000 vaccine doses would be dispensed for those with appointments within seven days, taking into account the daily vaccination rate is now 115,000 doses a day. ANN

Muhyiddin told JKJAV that this group of people should be allowed greater freedom of movement, Bernama reported.
A record 434,828 jabs were administered yesterday under the national immunisation programme.
The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply said 279,938 people received their first dose, and 154,890 their second dose.
Four million people, or 17.1% of the adult population, are now fully vaccinated, and 8.64 million, or 36.9% of adults, have had a first dose. TMI
