THE MYSTERY BEHIND MUHYIDDIN’S STATE OF EMERGENCY – WAS IT THE ONLY WAY TO INSTALL AN ‘AZMIN PM, HISHAM DPM’ AS THE NEXT LINE OF SUCCESSION FOR MALAYSIA – BUT SUCH A COMBO REEKS OF MAHATHIR INTERFERENCE – YET WHY ELSE WOULD MUHYIDDIN ‘LOVE’ AZMIN SO MUCH HE’S WILLING TO PART WAYS WITH UMNO OVER THE DPM POST

Although the issue of emergency can be considered resolved as the Agong has rejected the proposal, but many are still talking about it.

The most frequently asked is why and how Muhyiddin Yassin could be moved by the proposal, when in order to gain more support to avoid being ousted in Parliament, he as Prime Minister has many other options to consider.

Further, more disappointingly, if emergency enforcement is successfully implemented, it will place the Agong as a shared burden that should not have been placed on the shoulders of the Palace.

Therefore, why is Muhyiddin so eager to implement the emergency?

If refined, there are two reasons why emergency is an option and both are merely Muhyiddin’s fault.

First, when he was appointed Prime Minister in March, he never dared to confirm his position in Parliament, although a motion of no-confidence and no-confidence was presented against him.

Should, after being appointed by the Agong in the belief that he has the support of the majority, Muhyiddin continues to bring the issue of the legitimacy of his post to be confirmed by Parliament.

Apart from that, in order to avoid voting, he also postponed and changed the date of the Parliament Session, even the opening of the Parliament Session was only held for half a day.

If from the beginning, he dared to be masculine and bring disputes about his position to Parliament, surely the storms about his position do not arise to this day.

In fact, he also does not need to fear anymore whether the 2021 Budget is approved or rejected during the voting.

Of course, there is no need to go to the point of wanting to declare a state of emergency, the main thing instead is to suspend Parliament and avoid voting for next year’s budget.

Second, the emergency proposal is a manifestation of Muhyiddin’s affinity for Azmin compared to UMNO which has 39 parliamentary seats.

Through the formation of his cabinet, Muhyiddin announced that Azmin is not only one of the senior ministers with Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Dr. Radzi Jidin and Fadillah Yusof, even as the senior senior minister.

It follows, Muhyiddin said that during his absence, it was Azmin who would chair the cabinet meeting.

With the position of senior minister at the most senior and authorized to chair cabinet meetings, he is indirectly the Deputy Prime Minister.

Apart from that, with the status felt as the number two person after Muhyiddin, Azmin is also said to also use the office of the Deputy Prime Minister in Putrajaya for his use, in addition to his office as a MITI minister in Jalan Duta.

If from the beginning Muhyiddin created the post of Deputy Prime Minister and it is better to give the post to UMNO President, Zahid Hamidi, in accordance with the total 39 parliamentary seats owned by UMNO compared to Azmin’s Gang which has only 10 seats definitely not happening.

This is not the case, UMNO has not been given the post of Deputy Prime Minister, senior ministries have also been handed over to Bersatu which only has six original seats, while the remaining 25 are former UMNO frog jumpers (Hamzah Zainuddin Gang) and 10 of the former PKR (Azmin Gang).

Why Muhyiddin did not want to give the post of Deputy Prime Minister to UMNO leaders from the beginning was because he loved Azmin very much.

If there is a post of Deputy Prime Minister, Azmin cannot be manipulated as if he is the number two leader in the country and the future Prime Minister.

If examined, the emergency proposal proposed by the cabinet to the Agong if successfully implemented, clearly aims to maintain the existing privileges given to Azmin as the most senior leader to Muhyiddin.

Only after the emergency proposal was rejected by the Agong, then Muhyiddin was seen ready to give the post of Deputy Prime Minister to UMNO, even with the condition that his person was not Zahid Hamidi.

It can be seen here that Muhyiddin still has a grudge against UMNO and intends to continue to divide UMNO through a split and order approach.

If the Deputy Prime Minister to be appointed is not the UMNO President himself, even Hishammuddin Hussein who has no position in the party hierarchy is made an option, apart from showing that Muhyiddin continues to want to bully UMNO, more importantly it also shows his love for Azmin’s future never diminishes, despite being hit by various storms and obstacles.

IDEA DARURAT MANIFESTASI MUHYIDDIN LEBIH SAYANG AZMIN, MASIH BERDENDAM DENGAN UMNO

Walaupun isu darurat boleh dikira sudah selesai berikutan Agong telah menolak cadangan tersebut, tetapi masih ramai yang memperkatakan tentangnya.

Yang paling banyak ditanya ialah mengapa dan bagaimana Muhyiddin Yassin boleh tergerak hati kepada cadangan itu, walhal untuk meraih lebih sokongan untuk mengelakkan dijatuhkan di Parlimen, beliau sebagai Perdana Menteri mempunyai banyak pilihan lain untuk dipertimbangkan.

Seterusnya, yang lebih mengecewakan, jika penguatkuasaan darurat berjaya dilaksanakan, ia akan meletakkan Agong sebagai beban bersama yang tidak sepatutnya diletakkan di bahu Istana.

Lantaran itu, mengapa Muhyiddin begitu tergamak mahu melaksanakan darurat itu?

Kalau diperhalusi, ada dua sebab darurat menjadi pilihan dan kedua-duanya adalah salah Muhyiddin belaka.

Pertama, sebaik dilantik sebagai Perdana Menteri pada Mac lalu, beliau tidak pernah berani mahu mengesahkan kedudukannya di Parlimen, walaupun ada usul percaya dan tidak percaya dikemukakan terhadapnya.

Sepatutnya, selepas dilantik oleh Agong dengan kepercayaan beliau mempunyai sokongan majoriti, Muhyiddin terus membawa isu keabsahan jawatannya untuk disahkan oleh Parlimen.

Selain itu, demi untuk mengelak pengundian, beliau turut menangguh dan menukar tarikh Sidang Parlimen, bahkan pembukaan Sidang Parlimen juga hanya diadakan selama setengah hari saja.

Jika daripada awal, beliau berani bersikap jantan dan membawa pertikaian mengenai kedudukannya ke Parlimen, pasti ribut-ribut mengenai kedudukannya tidak berbangkit sampai ke hari ini.

Malah, beliau juga tidak perlu takut lagi sama ada Belanjawan 2021 dilulus atau ditolak ketika pengundian.

Tentunya juga tidak perlu lagi sampai ke tahap mahu mengisytiharkan darurat yang perkara utama di sebaliknya ialah menggantung Parlimen dan mengelakkan pengundian bagi belanjawan tahun depan.

Kedua, cadangan darurat adalah manifestasi sayangnya Muhyiddin kepada Azmin berbanding kepada UMNO yang memiliki 39 kerusi Parlimen.

Melalui pembentukan kabinetnya, Muhyiddin mengumumkan Azmin bukan saja salah seorang menteri kanan bersama Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Dr. Radzi Jidin dan Fadillah Yusof, malah sebagai menteri kanan yang terkanan sekali.

Ia berikutan, Muhyiddin mengatakan jika semasa ketiadaan beliau, Azminlah yang akan mempengerusikan mesyuarat kabinet.

Dengan jawatan menteri kanan paling kanan dan diberi kuasa mempengerusikan mesyuarat kabinet, secara tidak langsungnya beliaulah Timbalan Perdana Menteri.

Selain itu, dengan taraf yang dirasakan sebagai orang nombor dua selepas Muhyiddin, Azmin juga dikatakan turut menggunakan pejabat Timbalan Perdana Menteri di Putrajaya sebagai kegunaannya, selain pejabatnya sebagai menteri MITI di Jalan Duta.

Kalau daripada awal lagi Muhyiddin mewujudkan jawatan Timbalan Perdana Menteri dan sebaiknya memberikan jawatan tersebut kepada Presiden UMNO, Zahid Hamidi, sesuai dengan jumlah 39 kerusi Parlimen yang dimiliki UMNO berbanding Geng Azmin yang hanya ada 10 kerusi, kekeruhan hubungan dan konflik dalam PN sebagaimana yang berlaku sekarang pasti tidak terjadi.

Ini tidak, sudahlah UMNO tidak diberikan jawatan Timbalan Perdana Menteri, kementerian-kementerian kanan turut lebih banyak diserahkan kepada Bersatu yang hanya memiliki enam kerusi asal, manakala selebihnya sebanyak 25 adalah kerusi-kerusi pelompat katak bekas UMNO (Geng Hamzah Zainuddin) dan 10 daripada bekas PKR (Geng Azmin).

Mengapa Muhyiddin tidak mahu memberikan jawatan Timbalan Perdana Menteri kepada pemimpin UMNO sejak awal adalah kerana beliau amat sayangkan Azmin.

Jika ada jawatan Timbalan Perdana Menteri, tidaklah Azmin dapat diburung-merakkan seolah-olah dia adalah pemimpin nombor dua dalam negara dan bakal Perdana Menteri.

Jika diteliti, cadangan darurat yang dicadangkan kabinet kepada Agong andai berjaya dilaksanakan, dengan jelas bertujuan untuk mengekalkan keistimewaan sedia ada yang diberikan kepada Azmin sebagai pemimpin paling kanan kepada Muhyiddin.

Hanya setelah cadangan darurat itu ditolak Agong, barulah Muhyiddin ternampak sedia memberikan jawatan Timbalan Perdana Menteri kepada UMNO, itu pun dengan syarat bukan Zahid Hamidi orangnya.

Ternampak di sini bahawa Muhyiddin masih berdendam kepada UMNO dan punya niat untuk terus memecah-belahkan UMNO melalui pendekatan pecah dan perintah.

Jika Timbalan Perdana Menteri yang bakal dilantik bukan Presiden UMNO itu sendiri, malah Hishammuddin Hussein yang tiada kedudukan dalam hireaki parti dijadikan pilihan, selain memperlihatkan Muhyiddin terus mahu membuli UMNO, lebih penting ia juga menunjukkan rasa sayangnya kepada masa depan Azmin tidak pernah berkurangan, meski dilanda pelbagai badai dan rintangan.

Makna kata, selepas ini Hishammuddin dan Azmin adalah gandingan yang sedang diprojekkan untuk mengambil alih kepimpinan negara.
