TREETOP GIRL VEVEONAH WAS ONLY TRYING TO GET A GENUINE DEGREE – WHAT ABOUT THE MINISTER, WHERE DOES ZAHIDI’S ‘MBA’ COME FROM?: VEVEONAH CUBA DAPAT IJAZAH TULEN, IJAZAH MBA ZAHIDI DARI MANA?

Sabahan student Veveonah Mosibin's post about needing to study for her exams on a tree for better internet has brought her online fame and assurance by the authorities that the local internet connectivity would be improved. — The Star
After the apology of Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin, Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia for his actions in defaming Veveonah, I think this is over.Apparently the attack on Veveonah is still happening, this time the Kudat Member of Parliament has commented at length saying that Veveonah lied, although there is already a lot of evidence submitted by Universiti Malaysia Sabah residents who show Veveonah really needs to answer the exam at that time.

Veveonah is working on her basic studies, so that she can continue her studies to the degree level. It is an effort to be commended.

If we look, the deputy minister who is questioning Veveonah’s efforts, Datuk Zahidi is known to have a dubious academic qualification. The MBA he claims to have is doubtful as Global University is a specialized institution of Christian theology.

Veveonah is not a politician who is threatening the government, so she needs to be attacked repeatedly.

We are talking about a student who is still young, and probably still not used to facing attacks like this.

The actions of the politicians who desperately tried to kill Veveonah’s character are quite embarrassing.

Of course there are some citizens who will use their arguments to commit cyber bullying against Veveonah.

Enough for a period of 4 hours a day (before the official application of the deputy minister) is proof of how many people insult and insult Veveonah.

The giant media also cited the report, before releasing it again after the deputy minister apologized.

The problem of the Internet in Sabah is not unfounded. There are still many places in the interior of Sabah that do not yet have access to the Internet.

Why isn’t this the concern of both of them?

The confusion that occurred due to unclear instructions from the Ministry of Higher Education during the initial period of the Movement Control Order caused some students to “panic” and return to their hometowns.

This needs to be refined by the Member of Parliament for Kudat when asking UMS lecturers who questioned Veveonah’s action to return to the village.

It is time for the deputy minister to move away from this issue, stop trying to uphold the wet thread. Veveonah is just a student, not a politician who needs to be attacked like this.
