ONE YEAR NOT ENOUGH? YET AZMIN, OFTEN ACCUSED OF CURRYING FAVOR WITH BERSATU WARLORDS, DEFENDS NON-PERFORMERS AMID LATEST MASZLEE FURORE: ‘GIVE MINISTERS CHANCE TO DO THEIR JOBS’

THE people can judge for themselves whether a minister, menteri besar or state executive councillor is performing or not, said Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali.

He said Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had stated there is no intention to reshuffle the Cabinet.

He added although most of the ministers are newbies, they have shown commitment to discharge their duties well within a short time frame.

“So, give them a chance to do their jobs. What is important today is that we have a young and energetic team, with integrity and willing to serve to rebuild Malaysia.

Azmin was commenting on remarks by A. Kadir Jasin, the media advisor to the prime minister, who wrote in his blog that non-performing ministers, menteri besar and state executive councillors should step down honourably.
