“We do not take these allegations lightly neither do we start questioning the credibility of our elected representatives unjustly,” he said when contacted Friday (May 17).
He also warned that action would be taken against any party members who abused the trust given by the people.
“We would like to remind everyone that we will continue to uphold the virtues of a reformist party against any misconduct,” he added.
Farhash Wafa Salvador was commenting on the allegation by a former aide against the Perak PKR MP.
A police report was lodged by the aide, claiming that she had been sexually harassed between December 2018 and April 2019.
She alleged that the MP had addressed her with endearments and even showed her a book on “Kamasutra” and porn pictures.
It is believed the MP too had filed a police report, claiming that he was “mentally tortured” by the former aide.
It is learnt that the MP will be issuing a statement on Saturday (May 18).
