‘WHY SHOULD WE HELP OTHERS?’: PAS SHOWS ITS SELFISH, INSINCERE FACE, REFUSES TO SHARE ITS ELECTION MACHINERY WITH OTHER OPPOSITION PARTIES

KUALA NERUS – PAS election machinery will not help other parties in the 14th General Election except for its partners in the Gagasan Sejahtera pact, said its deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

He said its election machinery would only focus on working for the victory of PAS’s candidates.

“Why should we help parties with which we have no collaboration? Our struggle and agenda is what is most important to us,” he told reporters after launching the election machineries of PAS’ wings in conjunction with the FASTAQIM 2.0 (retreat) in Pantai Tok Jembal here today.

PAS had a falling out with its former partners in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition pact (with PKR and DAP) and is now going on its own with the support of some small parties and NGOs, which together make up Gagasan Sejahtera.

GE14 has to be called by August next year.
