KOTA KINABALU – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak attended a closed door meeting with Sabah Umno members here on Friday night.
Najib, who is Umno president, arrived at the Umno building at 8pm, accompanied by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman, who is also Sabah Umno chairman.
The meeting was part of Najib’s programmes during his two-day working visit to the state.
The prime minister began his visit earlier by opening the Lupak Meluas People’s Housing (PPR) Project in Sandakan and going on a walkabout at Harbour Square.
He is scheduled to officiate the opening of the Sipitang Pan Borneo project in Sindumin before going on another walkabout in Putatan on Saturday.
In the evening, Najib is scheduled to attend the wedding reception of the Senallang assemblyman Datuk Sri Nasir Tun Sakaran’s son before heading back to Kuala Lumpur.
