‘WEREWOLVES’ IN SABAH? TEACHER BITES STANDARD 4 SCHOOL BOY IN THE HAND

PENAMPANG – A Year Four pupil was allegedly bitten in the hand by his teacher at a school here, two days ago.

The incident is believed to have taken place at 10.25am on Friday, when the boy was handing over his test answer sheet to the teacher.

The incident only came to light later in the day when the boy complained of pain in his hand, where his parents noticed a bruise, while they were having a meal at a restaurant here.

When asked how he acquired the injury, the boy told his parents that his teacher had bitten him when he was passing his answer sheet on Friday.

“The boy’s parents lodged a police report yesterday and we are investigating the claim,” said District police chief Deputy Superintendent Mohd Haris Ibrahim.

He said an investigation paper has been opened under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing injury.
