SHAH ALAM: A woman who was abducted outside her work place in Kampung Jawa was found several hours later on Friday (Dec 8) night.
The woman’s son, Arri Thevan said he received a call informing him that his mother had been dropped off outside the factory where she works.

He rushed to the scene and found her near the industrial area in Seksyen 36 and took her to the hospital.

”She had injuries to her head and hands as she was beaten up.

”She will be at the hospital for some treatment but we are relieved that she is found safe,” Arri Thevan said, adding that her mother said the abductors asked her to surrender her ATM cards and jewellery.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Shafien Mamat said that the victim was beaten up after she was pushed into the car.

”Initial investigations showed that the victim did not know her abductors, who covered her eyes as soon as she was in the vehicle. They also took her mobile phone and other personal belongings.

”We are still looking for the suspects,” he said here Saturday.

The woman was abducted on Friday morning in a white car.

A video clip of CCTV footage taken outside the factory, shows a man behind the white car with some packages while a middle-aged woman approaches him.

The man then hands over the packages to her and suddenly pushes her towards the rear door of the car.

The door then opens from the inside and the woman is seen being pulled into the vehicle.

The man then gets into the driver’s seat and speeds off.

The case is being investigated under Section 365 of the Penal Code for kidnapping or abducting with intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person.
