SYED Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman today lodged a police report over threats made against him and his family members by the people who offered him RM5 million to leave Bersatu.
The Bersatu Armada (Youth) chief declined to give details of the report, or where he lodged it, saying only that it involved “personal threats and blackmailing”.
“I am already at the police station,” he said in a WhatsApp message.
“Really sorry, can’t make this a media event as it involves some very personal threats and blackmailing against me and my family.
On Monday, Syed Saddiq revealed that he was offered the sum of money to ditch his party and afterwards criticise its chairman, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and challenge the 92-year-old former prime minister to a debate.
