KUALA LUMPUR― Ordered to hold fresh elections for its central executive committee (CEC) DAP’s senior leaders will hold an emergency meeting tomorrow to discuss its next move.
DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke said the current members of the CEC will evaluate the order by the Registrar of Societies (RoS) earlier today, before making a decision.
“We will have an emergency meeting tomorrow afternoon and we will discuss what is our next course of action.
“We have to study the whole statement and then we discuss at CEC meeting tomorrow and then we will decide what to do,” he told Malay Mail Online when contacted.
The RoS had rejected the DAP’s two previous CEC elections, both the original polls held on December 15, 2012 and a re-election 10 months later on September 29, 2013.
