PETALING JAYA – Hamizura Osman, who is the sister of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) vice-president Hamidah Osman, has apologised to the Chinese community – especially to Perak DAP, for her racist remarks.
In a Facebook post on Thursday afternoon, Hamizura referred to a scathing media report that apparently represented views of the Opposition party.
“Even though I have apologised, the issue is still being played out, because they said it hurt the feelings of the Chinese community,” she said.
Hamizura had made the racially-charged remarks against the Chinese community in a status update on Wednesday morning.
“My friends in Pakatan Harapan are very worried if the Chinese family members of Pakatan, especially those from DAP, are offended by my statement. A million apologies to DAP, please forgive me,” she added.
