PETALING JAYA – PKR’s Rafizi Ramli says he would welcome any move by Datuk Dr Nasharudin Mat Isa to sue him for defamation but at the same time called on the former PAS deputy president to declare his assets.
“If he wants to sue me, I will wait for him in court. I have hundreds of questions that I need to ask him,” he said in a statement Saturday.
The Pandan MP added that in the meantime, Nasharudin should make a statutory declaration (SD) to declare all his assets, income, personal contributions, organisations and other related projects.
“He also needs to detail how the assets, income and contributions were spent and whom he spent them on,” said Rafizi.
Nasharudin however denied this, saying that it was “gross defamation” to him and PAS.
He added that he was willing to cooperate with any investigation conducted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) but that he was also considering legal action against Rafizi.
