In the electric vehicle world we are now seeing a move to the 200 mile driving range as being the minimum requirement. However that hasn’t stopped Nissan from promoting the Nissan Leaf in a new ad.
Their latest campaign saw Nissan attacking the Tesla Model 3, even though it was indirect it was obvious that this was the vehicle that the company was aiming at.
Nissan blasted the upcoming Tesla Model 3 and the fact that the company is taking reservations for the vehicle despite the vehicle not being in final production. The way Nissan went about the ad does questions whether people have the desire to green as Nissan did point out the long wait for what is an unconfirmed vehicle.
Nissan did make a strong point in the ad, however perhaps they should have also taken into account that while the Nissan Leaf was once an appealing vehicle, it doesn’t have the same appeal today.
Maybe Nissan should concentrate on bringing out a new Nissan Leaf so that they can stop on top of the electric market and be more ready to take on vehicles to come from Tesla. – http://www.autoomobile.com/
