NEW FLAME SUSPECTED OF KILLING LOVER’S EX-BOYFRIEND: HELMET & BLOOD TRAIL FOUND NEAR SUBANG JAYA APARTMENT

PETALING JAYA – A 28-year-old man who went to talk things over with his former girlfriend ended up dead when her new flame intervened.

He was found with severe injuries on the back of his head early morning on Dec 20 near her home.

The man, who died at hospital on Christmas Day, had been harrassing his former girlfriend after breaking up with her earlier this month, said Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Azlin Sadari.

“They met up because the man had also threatened to circulate pictures of her on Facebook,” said ACP Azlin.
On the night of Dec 19, the man went to her apartment in Subang Jaya.

However, her current boyfriend intervened, which led to a fight.

A friend of the woman’s boyfriend also joined in the scuffle.

“A security guard broke up the fight and the three were asked to leave. The woman was in the dark what happened next,” he said.

It is believed that this was when the victim was attacked.

“Forensics officers found a helmet visor in a drain, as well as blood at a nearby wall,” said ACP Azlin.

Police have arrested two suspects, aged 19 and 22.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
