The Swiss attorney general’s office (OAG):
Attorney General Michael Lauber’s 2016 annual report outlined efforts to tackle not only global corruption, but also domestic financial crime and Islamist extremism
In his annual report, Lauber once again acknowledged his probe of Malaysia’s scandal-hit state fund 1MDB has been hampered by Malaysian authorities’ refusal to co-operate.
But Switzerland’s top enforcement officer reiterated that other countries are helping to resolve billions of dollars in suspected misappropriations involving fund employees, banks and officials from Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.

My comments : Recorded forever for posterity in the Swiss AG’s Annual Report 2016 that a country called Malaysia refused to extend cooperation to the Swiss government which is investigating billions of dollars stolen from Malaysian government coffers.
Such an embarrassment.
Can the media ask the AG or any other gomen leader to comment on this latest embarrassment?
I believe the Swiss AG will table this report to their Parliament (Swiss Federal Assembly) or somewhere.
For the Swiss AG to write such a thing about another sovereign country in his Annual Report, well it has to be based on very solid grounds.
