King Salman plans making room for the modern Generation of Al-Sauds.
“Welcome to the new geopolitical change situation of oil in 2017 with the Kremlin being all inclusive.” Pascal Najadi, Geneva, 6.11.2017
GENEVA – Riyadh and Moscow are closest than ever, both largest oil producers in the world. Now Saudi Arabia has wisely chosen a strategic energy partnership that is sustainable and makes her less dependant on Washington.
Moscow also is a militarily and economically close partner to Tehran. And Moscow might be helpful indeed to bridge Riyadh and Tehran. And towards the East is the globally largest economic bloc, SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) championed by Russia and Kazakhstan in concert with China. The SCO is also arguably the largest combined holding of natural resources per se.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starts to behave like a grown up Realpolitik-Advocate in the spirit of global balance of powers and peace and is pivoting for the first time towards the East, real growth and peace within reach already today. For this process to have sound foundations, the Kingdom decided to rejuvenate the rule at the House of Saud.
I predict that King Salman is planning to abdicate soon to make historically important room for the new generation of Saudi Arabia to take its place in history.
The weeding out of corruption is now key to prepare for the next clean generation at the House of Saud striving to become a serious partner to the world on equal footings.
