Have you ever envied those seemingly perfect Instagram photos posted by celebrities and influencers?
Well, they may not be as perfect as their photos suggest.
Recently, a health blogger, Sara Puhto, 20, compared photos taken naturally and those that were composed beforehand.
The images, displayed side-by-side, revealed how much difference a good angle, or sucking in one’s tummy can make in a photo.
The difference was so great, it was hard believing that the subjects in both photos were one and the same.
Sara added: “Nobody’s booty looks round and peachy from all angles. Nobody has abs or a flat tummy 24/7 when they sit down.
“The other day I saw an Instagram post by a celebrity who had clearly photoshopped their body to make it look more curvy.
“The beauty industry strives off our insecurities, and only shows so few body types, please don’t let this make you hate yourself.
“Clothing size have the ability to make us feel bad about ourselves when we’ve gone up a size and feel good when we’ve gone down a size.
“But I’ve realized that it actually doesn’t matter at all. Just because someone wears a smaller size than you doesn’t make them a better person or a more beautiful person.
“Clothing size doesn’t define you. You are beautiful no matter what size you wear!
“Being you and having confidence is what makes you beautiful. Not what some beauty magazine portrays as beautiful.”

Just goes to show you shouldn’t compare yourself with things you see online, especially when they might not even be real.
