No. 2 – Dr Tini Zainuddin.
I received the following article / opinion / comment purportedly written by one Tini Zainuddin. The well known Dr Tini Zainuddin runs an NGO ‘Yayasan Chow Kit‘ that cares for abandoned babies, kids with multiple challenges, unmarried mums and such. I am not able to confirm if this was indeed written by Tini Zainuddin. (Minta maaf banyak-banyak Doktor if it was not you who wrote this.)
But it is still worth a read. The comment here shows exasperation to the max. I have done some highlighting, some bullet point-ing but the article is intact. Here goes :
I’ve had enough!
Please move on if you can’t be bothered.
I’ve had enough with these ridiculous headlines and policies and beliefs that you shove down our throats.
- Counselling someone for wearing shorts at a football game
- shoving and hitting people for kissing and holding hands outside a religious centre because you don’t like it?
- Its not even your country. It’s someone else’s country.
How is this Islam?
- Ive had enough of Muslims killing Muslims in the name of God.
- I’ve had enough of Muslims telling Muslims, it’s okay if children die in fires because it’s all the will of God.
- Never mind if the home was unsafe and you had no license.
- You’re Muslim. You know takdir, you’d understand.
No I don’t understand.
I’ve had enough of being afraid to be seen as a bad person or bad mother or bad Muslim because I don’t think or believe as you do.
You are the bad Muslim, not me!
Because Islam is kind and good and merciful.
I’ve had enough of vouching for frightened young women who have children on their own, with no husband and running to the hospitals to be their guardian so the religious authorities don’t accuse them of zina and call them unfit mothers.
And threaten to take away their babies.
- You’re bigoted and cruel and mean.
- You’re unislamic!
- Not me!
I’ve had enough of calling children dirty, unclean products of sin and saying they bear the burdens of the their parents’ sins.
Leave them where they are.
Its not your responsibility.
Well, it’s obviously not yours, is it?
I won’t leave these children and babies there.
I want them even if you don’t.
They’re God’s gift to humanity, don’t you see that?I’ve had enough of throwing refugees and poor people in prison because they steal a chicken or food from a grocery store. They’re hungry and poor. You deny refugee children here from going to school but you demonstrate they’re being persecuted in their own country? How crazy is this?
How is this Islamic?
Ive had enough, enough and I’m over answering questions from my son, asking if he’s a bad Muslim, or if I’m a bad Muslim because all he sees is Muslims killing other Muslims and whipping and scolding and frightening small children and saying they’re going to hell because they don’t pray 5 times a day.
He’s a good boy and he’s Muslim.
I won’t have him ashamed of saying he’s Muslim.
Islam is not a religion of fear.
Stop with the fear and the meanest and the smallness and using my name, my faith in vain.
Stop condemning me because you don’t like that I’m Muslim and liberal.
I’m Muslim and liberal – I’ll never change.
We need to change this kind of believes (sic) and practising of Islam.
We need to stop this cancer from spreading.
We need to focus on the big picture – stop corruption, stop baby selling, stop raping children, stop marrying children off, arrest the real criminals and assholes who spread fear and mayhem in this country.
Haven’t you had enough of this rubbish?
I’m just done.
I’m over this.
I will stand up and fight you back.
I will question and speak up and insist that you practise the true word of Islam.
I won’t back down because you say I don’t know Islam.
- I know my religion and it doesn’t impose
- it doesn’t discriminate and
- it doesn’t judge and sentence.
My comments : Thank you Dr Tini Zainuddin. Just like the saying “all roads do lead to Rome”, at the end of it all those who can see will see that all the signs point out the real satans.
Sooner for some, later for others but eventually all those who can see will see that all the signs point out the real devils.
And the devils who have been pointed out will remain blind. In a state of real kuffar.
No. 3 “Idiocracy”
Now here is a video clip from the Sci-Fi movie ‘Idiocracy’.
This movie “Idiocracy” has now become a cult film.
This is the scene where Corporal Bauers (Luke Wilson) finds out that the crops are failing because instead of watering the crops, the moronic people in “Idiocracy” are told to spray Brawndo (a sports drink like Gatorade) on the plants – causing them to whither.
- Why do they pour a sports drink on the crops?
- Because the sports drink has “electrolytes”.
- And “electrolytes” are good for plants ! !
- So says the religion of Idiocracy !!
Do watch the clip :
Link : https://youtu.be/VBML3VpbuYQ
So what is the connection with Dr Tini? I see Dr Tini as Luke Wilson. She can see as clear as daylight that all you have to do is just pour regular water on the crops. And just let them grow.
Instead the idiots of Idiocracy insist that you must pour “Brawndo” (aka Gatorade) on the plants.
Why? Because Brawndo has “electrolytes”.
So what? Because “electrolytes” are good for plants !!
This is the religion in “Idiocracy”.
Just treat the ‘born out of wedlock children’ like normal children.
It is not their fault.
Shower them also with love and care and educate them.
Then watch them grow and bloom.
Apa susah sangat?
Itu pun tak boleh faham ke?
No. 4 The boy who ran to the wrong front gate.
I have mentioned this story before. Once in Bangsar Baru just near our house, I saw a young boy being attacked by a neighbourhood dog. The boy ran to the nearest house and stood with his back against its front gate to face the charging dog. I stopped my car and went to help the child. The dog kept coming at the boy even though I was shielding him. Then I realised the problem. The dog lived in that house. The boy did not realise that he had picked the wrong house to seek refuge. The dog was defending its territory. When I took the boy’s hand and moved him just a few steps, the dog also stopped charging at the boy.
This is the same problem with religion.
People seek refuge in their religions.
What if their religion is indeed the problem?
What if that is where the wild dogs live?
They are seeking refuge in the wrong house.
They are doomed.
No. 5 So where is the right “front gate”? Where shall we find real refuge?
It happened to me 31 years ago in 1986. I was living in the US then and used to attend the local student mosque. One day in the mosque they played a video showing an old man by the name of Ahmed Deedat. At that time Deedat was not so well known yet, especially in Malaysia. I learnt a lot about the Bible from that video. But more importantly I learned a lot more about the Quran – which Muslims say is “our Book”.
Deedat used the Quran like a reference text book, expertly quoting from the Quran to stress his points. It was the first time I realised that the Quran was not a sing-song mantra book – which is how I had been taught to read it at that time. Just chant it blindly in Arabic, in sing song fashion, without having to understand a word of what I was chanting.
I began reading the translations (and later also learnt enough Arabic) to understand the meaning and the real message of the Quran.
That was when the truth hits you like a really nice ray of sunshine on a chilly day (which is a pleasant experience in the spring time in the US).
That was when you realise that ALL the things you have been brainwashed with (ALL OF THEM) are not found inside the Quran.
So where do they come from?
They come from outside the Quran.
From the extra-Quranic sources.
Then I read more and researched more and got into the intricacies of the imams of jurisprudence, the story tellers, the ijma gurus, the Shias, the sects, the Salafis, the Wahabis, the Sufis, the Ahmadiyahs, the Tablighis and a thousand other divisions. And finally I arrived at the Hebrew Bible and the Jewish teachings – the mother fount of all the Gatorade in the religion.
None of it could be found in the Quran.
None of it matched the Quran.
The Quran says something else.
If I may make a suggestion to Dr Tini, if you wish to read and know more about other views about Islam there are numerous sites on the Net which say things you may not have heard of before.
We are not alone.
