CHINESE national Zhang Jian – the self-proclaimed “future richest man in the world” – is said to have set up another multi-level marketing company, reported China Press.
This time, Zhang was said to be promoting a coin called Wu Xin Bi, which he claimed had investment value.
He was also said to have hired a group of women to be his assistants to promote the new “business”.
However, to be his assistant and to build up an image, the woman is required to shave her hair.
A man, who claimed to be Zhang’s “assistant”, posted on social media recently that the assistants could earn between 3,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan (RM1,925 to RM19,251) a month.
According to one of Zhang’s “assistants”, they only needed to promote the investment to their friends through social media.
A police station in Shaanxi province, China, warned the public not to fall into the Wu Xin Bi trap.
The whereabouts of Zhang, who was last reported to be in Thailand, is still unknown.
Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) (Intelligence and Operations) deputy director Senior Asst Comm Roslan Abd Wahid said police had yet to receive any report on the Wu Xin Bi. He, however, said the police were paying close attention to Zhang’s activities.
