PETALING JAYA: A number of accidents on Monday morning has resulted in traffic jams along several roads and expressways in the Klang Valley.

On the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), a fatal accident near Bandar Utama involving a motorcyclist is causing a 5km crawl from Damansara Perdana.

The wrecked vehicle has been cleared, however LDP Traffic said that traffic is still expected to be slow moving.

“Investigating officers are at the location. Traffic is still slow moving from Kepong/Sierramas to Bandar Utama,” it tweeted at 8.42am.

Road users on the Elite highway are also experiencing a more than 10km crawl from Putrajaya to USJ due to an accident involving fours cars at KM9.8, while a collision near the Muhibbah Bridge in Klang has resulted in a 5km crawl from Bandar Botanik Klang to West Port.

On Twitter, Star Traffic warned of delays on Jalan Kampung Pandan following reports of an overturned car near the Kampung Pandan roundabout.

Traffic is also more congested than usual in the city centre due to a car crash near Beach Club Cafe on Jalan P. Ramlee.
