PETALING JAYA – In the days following the announcement of their engagement, SM Faliq Nasimuddin, son of the late Tan Sri Nasimuddin Amin and Chryseis Tan, daughter of Tan Sri Vincent Tan, have kept up the romance by sharing photographs from a holiday in Morocco.
A day after the announcement, Tan posted a short Instagram video of the two enjoying a scenic hot air balloon ride in the town of El Kelaa des Sraghna with a simple caption – “Sunrise & breakfast!”
In an Instagram image, Tan was seen admiring her new ring with the morning sun shining in the background.
Tan also shared photos where she and Faliq were enjoying a candlelight dinner under the draping branches of a large flowering tree in Marrakesh’s beautiful Dar Yacout restaurant.
The Berjaya Times Square CEO announced her engagement to the deputy executive chairman and group managing director of Naza TTDI on Instagram on Saturday.
The post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and friends celebrating the good news.
Faliq, 32, popped the question to Tan, 29, after a long courtship while on holiday in Marrakesh on Friday.
Faliq is the last among three brothers to be married.
Chryseis, who has 10 siblings, is also the executive director of Berjaya Assets Bhd and an investor in several brands including Greyhound Cafe and La Juiceria, and is known for her luxurious jet-setting lifestyle.
